During the Prohibition era from 1920 - 1933, speakeasies were born in the U.S. so that people could meet up and enjoy an adult beverage or two. An historic speakeasy location was the "21" Club in New York, which still stands today.
It's in the spirit of speakeasies and their ability to remain under the radar that we have named our Speakeasy Chair. Though not flashy, its good looks and quality American craftsmanship manage to shine through to those "in the know". A timeless style of chair that's built to last in your restaurant or pub, your customers will "sit easy" on the Speakeasy.
Our Speakeasy chair is made from solid reclaimed Antique Oak wood in a classic tavern style. Shown here with a toasted Oak finish and sealed with a clear coat of lacquer.
